What can I do against the bloodsuckers stealing from my alzheimer grandfather?
This situation is in Iowa. Are there any legal options that I have to force him away from these people? They have convinced him to start giving away his savings and property to them and to avoid medical care for his condition. I would like to know if we (his family) can take complete control over his estate and force him to receive the medical care that he needs.

You need a lawyer. Professional bloodsuckers can always beat amateur bloodsuckers. Nothing will be left either way, of course.
File a police report in your area, get in touch with your Attorney General and have all documentation that you can find. Also, there is a large booklet available in San Diego, CA. that you can phone for toll free at: 1-800-510-2020.. Also AArp has information as does http://www.aoa.gov with plenty of answers and resources that should prove invaluable. My heart is with you!
i believe so, its called power of attorney, i suggest you find a good lawyer and discuss what is going ,as far as they are concern ,is this family?if so you might want to take that up with the lawyer as well.Good luck
