I need help with what I should talk about in my speech on what the effects of Alzheimer’s is.

My father, someone who has had Parkinson’s for about 15-years, has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He does not know yet. I studying Erikson’s theory and am trying to write a paper on a particular person but I can’t ask her any questions because she is at end-stage Alzheimer’s.

What I am really trying to ask here, is can an alzheimer’s patient remember them self like remembering a person in a memory, when in reality it is a memory of them self? And this is whether or not they know this person in the memory is them.
