I think using home remedies like alum powder might seriously contribute to Alzheimer’s.?

Do you think I am far off in my speculation? It is used in home remedies for canker sores, cold sores, douching and in canning. I notice people on the internet recommend it for so many things like its “great”, but I am worried about long term effects for people using this stuff out there (especially in their mucous membranes). It raises the question, is Alzheimer’s a genetic predispositionary-type only disease?

Aluminum (like is in Alum Powder, hydrated Aluminium Potassium Sulfate) has been shown to cause more symptoms of Alzheimer’s and it’s definitely not just a genetic predisposition (although genetics do make some people more likely to get it). My great aunt had Alzheimer’s and passed away from “complications” of it (for lack of a better term), so I’ve done a lot of research on it.

There are people who say it doesn’t do anything negative and use products (deodorants, cosmetics, etc), but there are more products with Aluminum than there were 100 years ago and there are more cases of Alzheimer’s than there were 100 years ago. That’s not proof of a direct correlation, but you can’t deny that there is very possibly/likely a link. I know I’ve switched to a natural deodorant without Aluminum that works well for me.
